Drake Reschedules July 28 Manchester Show Due to Travel Issues, Adds August Date
Drake’s scheduled performance in Manchester on July 28 has been postponed due to unexpected ferry delays and logistical issues, according to an announcement on the arena’s website. The rescheduled show will now take place on Tuesday, August 5, with all original tickets still valid.
“We’re excited to confirm Drake will now take the stage on August 5 for what promises to be an unforgettable night,” the venue stated.
The “Iceman” rapper had already performed back-to-back shows in Manchester on Friday and Saturday and is still set to perform on August 4 as part of his Some Special Shows 4 U tour.
This marks Drake’s return to Europe after a six-year hiatus since his Assassination Vacation tour, which supported his 2018 album Scorpion.
Drake hasn’t addressed the scheduling change publicly on his social media.
Meanwhile, the 6 God recently dropped a new single titled “Which One” featuring UK rapper Central Cee. The track premiered during his Iceman livestream last week, which was filmed in and around Manchester—and included a surreal chase scene involving a life-sized Pinocchio.
